Service
The nation, the fatherland, the country is a community of people living together, on the same land, sharing the same space, challenging the same challenges, interacting. For the country, the fatherland, the nation however to be healthy, it is important that certain principles are followed.
I consider serving the others as to be one of those. I believe service to be a path to the harmony and even to the progress of the nation. Children of The National Triangle must devote themselves to serving each other, thus will they be serving Cameroon.
Allow me to explain myself on why I elect service as a choice tool in the making of The National Triangle as we want it to be: through serving we give life to the others and therefore to the entire nation. Through serving we bring solutions to the others and therefore to the entire nation. Through serving we weave the threads of harmony that make the spider web that is the nation. Through serving we make life agreeable for the others and by way of consequence for the entire nation. Through serving we bring the citizens together. Through serving we transcend the barriers of tribalism, regionalism to encompass all the citizens inside the same big national circle. Through serving we open doors, we do not close ‘em. Through serving each other we make grow and progress a nation, a people, a continent.
I want to tell Cameroon; I want to tell all Cameroonians that service is by no way a sign of weakness or submission. Service is no degrading. Service is not humiliating. Service is a way for a nation to progress. A culture of service must dawn, spread and take root inside The National Triangle. Let Cameroonians learn to serve each other the way the wonderful land of Cameroon is serving us, so generously offering us all that we need for our subsistence and our fulfillment every day. Many of us feel that their social or elder status forbid ‘em the necessity of serving the others. That mentality is very harmful to our country. Through serving we grow and make others grow too. We even educate the others through serving. Cameroonians must display a good disposition for mutual service. The Cameroon of tomorrow will be also a Cameroon where Cameroonians will have learned how to serve Cameroonians and… Cameroon.
