From the National Triangle to the National Pyramid

The shape of our country is a geometrical figure with three angles, a triangle. For that reason cameroon is affectionately called The National Triangle. Now Cameroon as a triangle is a consequence of geography. Men, women or children who lived in Cameroon in the past did have no hand in the course of things being that way. It just happened.

Now as a people, made of people to build, we have a community of people, that is to say a nation to build up inside that triangle. We want for that entity that our common energies must produce to stand tall and strong like the sun when it shines at the 4 directions of space. As a triangle, the way for us to reflect our sun in the south, the north, the east and the west is to become a pyramid. The pyramid actually is a 4 symmetrically-faced triangle with each side facing one point of the compass.

A pyramid is a work of many. That triangular erected construction is the work of all the hands. Symbolically, the pyramid means the community, the nation, the kingdom. In our country we have an illustration of that ancient knowledge in the west region with the pyramidal roofs of the king's palaces. This legacy that Africa left behind for her children to use is not made of one single block but of millions parts that assembled, united, concerted together, worked in harmony to stand high, shine and defy time. From now on, let The National Triangle become The National Pyramid.
