Marriages
Marriages between Africans from the continent and Africans from the diaspora must be given a higher symbolic status, which is panafrican unity achieved at last. Spouses in this type of marriages should well be aware that their union really is one of a kind, a 400 year old problem finally solved. Their union also is a historical step that must anticipate the reunion of all the scattered children of Africa. Both spouses should receive official correspondence of congratulation from the embassy of the spouse with an african nationality. An african nationality should be granted to the willing spouse from the diaspora.I think marriages between Africans from the continent and Africans from the diaspora should be encouraged as a sign of the great panafrican meeting again to come.
