A Creative People, A People in Motion
Let us give originality and creativity a chance. We must not be afraid to dare. Let us dare. Let us dare think different. Let us try to be creative to be more efficient. Let us try to be imaginative. Let us be original. Let us dare look for original solutions away from the routine of mainstream thinking, with a maximum of efficiency as our target. Let us please be receptive to new possibilities, new ideas.
Let our thinking process be a dynamic one. Life is dynamic. History, human societies are dynamic. Nothing is ever static. The movement is in everything and everything is moving, always. The cells in our body are renewing themselves permanently. Even mother nature is regenerating herself. The most beautiful woman must make herself look beautiful every day to be more attractive. The most talented sportsman or sportswoman must train every time to increase their performance. The most brilliant schoolboy, schoolgirl or student is most of the time the most studious one, right? The person we are today is not exactly the same person we were yesterday.
Knowledge, science, tradition, techniques need to be updated in order to remain operational and answer to the challenges of their time. The time we are living today is not exactly the time of our fathers and mothers. The time of our fathers and mothers is not exactly the time of their own fathers and mothers, and so on. The problems a generation is confronted to are not exactly identical to the problems another generation will be confronted to. Earth is in motion too. Earth is revolving around the sun. The sun too is revolving. Life in its entirety has a general movement. History is marching on. Animals in the forest, human beings need to walk on, to move around, to be in motion in other to live.
In the same way, our thinking must move, it must in a sense walk up also. The ideas in our heads must move. Our thoughts must walk up and move. The methods we use must move, be in motion too. To remain static and not to regenerate ourselves, immobility would mean regression. We constantly must look for the best way to transmit our knowledge if we are educators for example.
This goes for the public agents when they deal with clients who wait for endless minutes in long rows in order to pay their water or power bills. This goes for any company, business, department in the administration we have to manage. This goes for the sick we must take care of when we are nurses or doctors. This goes for the passengers we welcome in the taxi, car or bendskin we are driving.
Basic politeness, the simple fact of being friendly, inquiring about the family and ordinary things of life is already a good start. There is an ancient african art of the word we must retrieve and practice in our everyday life. I do not think this requires an extra effort or involvement. It asks good will and that is not asking too much.
